Fairmont:
Covers & B Sides
Hear studio versions of some of the covers that Fairmont has recorded
between the years 2002 and 2007. As well you can hear 4 of the original
demos from Wait & Hope that were written and completed almost 2 full
years before the album came out and the original version of the Fairmont
classic 2:37am. In addition The Amazing Plastic Boy and MInus Scale cover
from a never released EP in 2004 and the newsest B Side a scrapped song
from the forthcoming Reckless Abandon the track "Candles".
Fairmont:
Bootleg Series Volume 1 Hear live audio direct from the sound board from three different
Fairmont shows that span their entire career. First from 2002 a live show
at the famous NJ Indie spot Uncle Joe's in Jersey City (recorded courtesey
of Lazlo at BlowUpRadio.com), tracks all from Fairmont's debut album.
Next is Hell is Other People era Fairmont live at New York's CBGB's in
2004 playing 7 of their best tracks at the time. Fairmont just prior to
recording Wait & Hope played The Fine Line Cafe in Minneapolis and
you can hear many slight differences in the music right before Producer
Dean Baltulonis got ahold of them as well as you can hear Neil just before
he started intense vocal lessons which makes this singer and the one on
Wait and Hope sound like two different people.
Fairmont:
The Reinforcement Record Years These are the EP's all recorded between the Fairmont albums
Pretending Greatness is Awaiting and Anomie. You can hear Fairmont go
from all out screamy 5 piece rock back down to it's acoustic roots all
within a two year period. As well those of you who followed the band closely
will have remembered in the long and sorted tale of Fairmont their drummer
for one short summer Corneilius Moore Jr. also known as Corn who gave
the band a completely different sound in his short time in the band, this
is all captured in the demo made at Neil's apartment known as the Corn
Demo. As well the never before released LeMal demo features an acoustic
session by Neil that was done the day after 3 members of Fairmont had
quit to pursue another project.
